About The Position

The Director of Housekeeping leads the housekeeping team at The Highland Dallas, a luxury boutique hotel, and is responsible for maintaining exceptional cleanliness, comfort, and guest service. The role oversees the housekeeping department, develops strategic operating plans, maintains quality standards, and improves departmental processes and performance. The Director works with other departments to meet guest needs and manages housekeeping budgets, inventory, and supplies. The position requires flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and industry trends.
• Proficiency in housekeeping software and technology.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed.
