About The Position
The Director of Housekeeping leads the housekeeping department at The Highland Dallas, a luxury boutique hotel. The role is responsible for maintaining an impeccable level of cleanliness and comfort and ensuring a pristine, welcoming environment that supports exceptional guest experiences. The Director develops and implements operational plans, oversees department performance and resources, and leads a team of housekeeping professionals. The position requires flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in housekeeping software and technology.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours and weekends as needed.
