About The Position

Franklin Plumbing in Columbia, SC is searching for a full-time Plumbing Operations Manager to join our adaptive and empowering leadership team. This full-time, hybrid role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $115,000/year plus bonuses. As Plumbing Operations Manager, you will work a consistent schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities. Flexibility is key, as you will also cover evenings, nights, or weekends as needed to support your team and ensure project completion.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze operational performance
Solid communication skills for interacting with clients, crews, and vendors

Nice To Haves

Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or a related field
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise plumbing technicians and field crews.
Oversee the planning and coordination of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing projects.
Manage timelines, prioritize work orders, and ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.
Conduct site inspections, maintain quality control, and ensure all work complies with local codes and industry standards.
Manage the procurement and inventory of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment.
Keep track of vehicle maintenance and ensure crews are properly equipped.
Handle customer relations escalations and nurture client relationships.
Review estimates and bids.
Support business development through repeat work and new contracts.
Foster a results-driven, growth-minded team environment.
