About The Position

Franklin Plumbing in Columbia, SC is searching for a full-time Plumbing Operations Manager to join our adaptive and empowering leadership team. This full-time, hybrid role offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 – $115,000/year plus bonuses. As Plumbing Operations Manager, you will work a consistent schedule from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities. Flexibility is key, as you will also cover evenings, nights, or weekends as needed to support your team and ensure project completion.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools
  • Ability to manage budgets, control costs, and analyze operational performance
  • Solid communication skills for interacting with clients, crews, and vendors

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in business management, construction management, or a related field
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise plumbing technicians and field crews.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of residential, commercial, and industrial plumbing projects.
  • Manage timelines, prioritize work orders, and ensure jobs are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct site inspections, maintain quality control, and ensure all work complies with local codes and industry standards.
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of plumbing materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Keep track of vehicle maintenance and ensure crews are properly equipped.
  • Handle customer relations escalations and nurture client relationships.
  • Review estimates and bids.
  • Support business development through repeat work and new contracts.
  • Foster a results-driven, growth-minded team environment.
