About The Position
The Plumbing/Mechanical Technician is responsible for preparing and completing gas piping set ups for whole home generators. This position installs natural gas and propane systems for residential generator projects.
Requirements
- First hand experience setting up generator gas piping installations
- Multiple years’ experience in residential plumbing services OR a combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of applicable fuel gas and plumbing codes.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, building codes, OSHA requirements, and industry standards
- Experience estimating projects using software
- Valid Driver's License and good driving record
- High school diploma or GED
Nice To Haves
- Plumbing license, trade certification, associate degree, or related technical training
Responsibilities
- Connect the gas line to the whole home generator
- Reviews architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and civil drawings, specifications, addenda, and contract documents
- Maintains current knowledge of plumbing materials, installation methods, building codes, and industry changes.
- Represents East End Plumbing with professionalism and care (every home, every visit)

- Provides customers with a remarkable experience
- Any and all other duties as assigned by supervisor
