Legacy Plumbing joined the Ace Hardware family in 2022 and continues to provide plumbing services with the support of Ace Hardware Home Services. The Plumbing Apprentice supports technicians in the field and the Warehouse Coordinator while learning plumbing work and customer service. The role involves substantial manual labor and helping wherever needed. Apprentices learn to put customers at ease, explain plumbing issues, help resolve their problems, and build strong customer relationships. The position pays $17–$20 per hour, with the posted starting range potentially varying based on education and experience.

Requirements

Mechanical aptitude.
Hustle.
Problem-solving skills.
Willingness to be taught and coached.
A valid driver’s license.
At least three years of U.S. driving experience.
The position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Support a team of technicians in the field.
Perform manual labor, including digging, climbing, carrying heavy items, and cleaning.
Support the Warehouse Coordinator.
Learn to put customers at ease while educating them about plumbing issues and helping fix their problems.
Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers.
Communicate positively and effectively with teammates in the field and in the office.
Help wherever needed.
