Plumbing Apprentice
About The Position
Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling is hiring a Plumbing Apprentice to learn the plumbing trade through on-the-job training and daily support from licensed plumbers. The apprentice assists with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance while developing skills for long-term career growth. The role also involves customer communication, inspections, completing quoted work, and supporting the team in accordance with company policies and procedures. Requirements
- Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to crawl, climb, kneel, squat, bend, and reach overhead.
- Ability to climb and work on ladders.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Drug testing, background checks, and a valid driver's license are conditions of employment.
- Professional and respectful communication, a positive attitude, and willingness to work hard.
Responsibilities
- Assist with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance while learning from licensed plumbers.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers, office staff, and coworkers.
- Conduct thorough inspections and accurately quote replacements or repairs.
- Complete proposed work as quoted.
- Participate in required staff meetings and training sessions.
- Promote a positive, professional, and friendly work environment.
- Work hard, smart, and efficiently.

- Assist others with assigned duties.
