About The Position

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. is seeking Plumbers for a project in Henrico, Virginia. The role involves preventative maintenance, repairs, minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems, and installation of plumbing systems. Hired candidates will be considered for benefits and paid time off after three months.

Requirements

Be able to safely access all areas of properties and buildings.
Be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas.
Be able to hear and respond adequately to voice commands, employee alerts, alarms, and other job-related noises.
Be able to effectively use required personal protective equipment.
Be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.
Be able to stand for long periods, bend consistently, work on ladders, and work in awkward body positions.
Be able to meet the strenuous physical demands required to perform the position's essential functions safely.

Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance and repairs according to work order requirements.
Perform minor plumbing maintenance on existing systems, such as unclogging toilets and drains, repairing leaks in drains and faucets, and replacing toilets and faucet fixtures as needed.
Install plumbing systems.
Stay current with safety regulations and requirements for the plumbing systems the company installs and maintains.
Maintain a work log with detailed reports of completed work.
Complete service and asset inspections as needed.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed.
Follow SIC and client safety processes and procedures at all times.
