About The Position

The Players Club Lead Rep is responsible for introducing and explaining the benefits of Players Club membership to guests, registering new members, and supervising Players Club staff during their assigned shift. This role involves training and performance reviews of staff, printing Players Club Cards, and answering guest inquiries about general casino information, promotions, events, and drawings. The Lead Rep identifies and welcomes VIP players, issues prizes and rewards, accounts for distributed items, and oversees sign-up functions for Players Club activities and promotional events. Additionally, this position assists with Group Sales events, investigates and corrects guest issues related to their Players Club accounts, and maintains comp services, casino rating cards, and special promotions. The Lead Rep participates in special events, develops a working knowledge of machinery like kiosks, assists with maintenance of tracking systems, generates daily reports, and assists in paying winners. They are also responsible for announcing and photographing jackpot winners, making microphone announcements about casino promotions and events, and paging customers or employees. The role emphasizes delivering quality guest service, keeping the work area clean, and answering phones. The essential functions are a general representation and subject to change based on organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a service-related field or casino venue.
  • Must have computer experience. (Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Repetitious computer work.
  • Excellent guest service skills.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Must maintain a regular attendance record.
  • Ability to communicate with a diverse group of people.
  • Ability to make judgements and work independently.
  • Working knowledge of casino operations, including floor layout.
  • Knowledge of player clubs and casino operations.
  • Must be able to obtain a Key Gaming License upon hire.
  • Must be able to run the drawings in LUSH and the Oasis System

  • Prepare correspondence, memos, forms, reports, and other miscellaneous paperwork, as needed.

  • Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • May be required to bend and lift up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to lifting and/or carrying loading and unloading gift items or retrieving them from shelves or other places.
  • Good vision abilities required by this job.
  • Must maintain good personal grooming habits and carry self on a professional business manner.
  • Ability to handle diverse situations and/or people.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Introduces and explains the benefits of Players Club membership to guests and registers new members into the database.

  • Identifies and welcomes VIP players and Players Club members.
  • Issues prizes and rewards to club members.
  • Accurately accounts for all gifts/rewards items distributed and takes inventory.
  • Oversees sign-up functions for Players Club activities and promotional events.
  • Assist in getting Group Sales events ready such as gaming covers etc. (Groups, Buses, Trade Shows, Community Events and Concerts)
  • Investigating and correcting guest issues related to their Players Club accounts.
  • Responsible for maintaining comp services, casino rating cards, and special promotions.
  • Participates in special events and promotions as needed.
  • Develops a working knowledge of machinery used during events and promotions such as kiosks.
  • Assists in the maintenance of the tracking systems. Generates daily reports as needed.
  • Assists in paying winners from events, promotions, and drawings.
  • Responsible for announcing and taking photos of all jackpot winners and grand prize winners.
  • Making announcements on microphone about casino promotions and events. Paging customers or employees when necessary.
  • Delivers and ensures quality guest service to casino guests.
  • Keep work area in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Answer phones, transferring to appropriate department and/or take messages when necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
