About The Position

Responsible for making change and exchanging chips and tickets for cash for players during a specified shift in the Player Services area while providing support and service. The representative handles player transactions, maintains an appropriate cash drawer balance, and provides courteous service and information about promotions. The position also involves following internal controls and regulatory requirements, including Title 31 requirements.

Requirements

Previous money-handling experience, preferably in a cashier position.
Data entry experience.
High school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Excellent customer service skills.
Attention to detail.
Basic math skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to operate a 10-key adding machine.
Knowledge of casino cash receipts and reporting requirements.
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and any shift.
Must pass a background check and obtain a gaming license from the Robinson Rancheria Gaming Commission, as required for work in gaming operations.
Must pass an annual Title 31 exam.

Responsibilities

Make change or exchange players’ cash for chips and tickets in the casino.
Request money through the Player Services Manager to maintain an appropriate level of cash in the drawer.
Provide prompt, friendly, and courteous service.
Cash checks and gaming tickets for players.
Follow Internal Controls and Title 31 requirements.
Make credit inquiries, perform credit checks, and complete related functions for new check-cashing applications.
Conduct all player transactions confidentially.
Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and prepare the required paperwork.
Sign up new players.
Greet players as a company representative and provide information about promotions.
Develop relationships with top players.
Adhere to regulatory requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
