About The Position

We are a Seed Fund in NYC fostering innovation through a vibrant community of founders, investors, and industry experts. We host high-profile themed events around topics ranging from Art and AI to conversations with scientists leading the latest breakthrough in gene editing and longevity. Our investors include financial institutions, family offices, and former CEOs, with portfolio companies in the US and Israel.

Position Overview: As the Platform & Events Lead, you will manage our event programming, ensuring top-tier experiences for attendees. This role requires a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated individual who excels with high-profile clientele. You will work directly with LPs and portfolio CEOs, focusing on building relevant communities and events.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field.
• Experience in planning and executing high-profile events.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver.
• Familiar with VC and startup landscapes; reads up on startups for fun.
• Proficiency in event management software.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute event strategies.
• Plan and manage events, including conferences, cocktail parties, and offsites.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, investors, and key figures.
• Provide personalized service and handle sensitive information.
• Work with marketing and communications teams to promote events.
• Coordinate with vendors, speakers, and partners.
• Oversee event logistics and manage budgets.
• Continuously improve event processes and stay informed about industry trends.
