We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to help build and scale our foundational platforms. As NexHealth transforms how healthcare professionals deliver care and patients experience it, our internal systems must deliver top-tier quality and customer value at high velocity. As a leading health tech company, we need to ensure that our customers have only the highest levels of trust in us and our systems—which encompasses data infrastructure, engineering excellence, and product and data security. True innovation can only be sustained when the supporting systems encourage high-caliber engineering output and enable rapid iteration without incurring massive technical debt. Your team will be responsible for building these systems from first principles—prototyping, productionizing solutions, and creating the rising tide that lifts all boats. Delivering high quality features earlier and with safety and security is what truly makes our customers believe that we are the platform to be on. This role will be based out of Toronto or Vancouver and embraces a hybrid working model that balances remote and onsite work (the specifics of which are at the discretion of NexHealth management). It is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about engineering fundamentals and operational excellence in a complex problem space. No prior experience in health tech is required.
