About The Position

The Platform Engineer designs, implements, and maintains the infrastructure supporting the organization’s applications and services. The role focuses on platform reliability, scalability, security, performance, and cost-efficiency. It involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting complex issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position requires an active security clearance with an appropriate polygraph.

The work environment may include moderate office noise from computers, phones, and printers, and/or occasional loud noise from an airfield or large equipment. The role may require sitting at a computer terminal for extended periods. Occasional travel of up to 10% is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

• Active security clearance with an appropriate polygraph.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, DevSecOps, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, RedHat Linux, Helm, container management, CI/CD, and AWS IAM.
• Ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear while performing job responsibilities.
• Ability to sit and use hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Nice To Haves

• Relevant certifications in Kubernetes, DevSecOps, or AWS.
• Experience working with large-scale cloud environments.
