Requirements

  • Senior engineer with 10 plus years relevant experience
  • Strong Hand’s on Python experience
  • Design, deploy, and manage infrastructure solutions using Terraform, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code scripts to automate the provisioning and configuration of resources.
  • Ensure version-controlled, repeatable deployments using IaC best practices.
  • Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy, scale, and optimize applications in Kubernetes environments.
  • Leverage scripting languages (e.g Python) to automate routine tasks and streamline workflows.
  • Ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable infrastructure for Data platforms.
  • Implement containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) solutions for deploying and managing Data applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure containerized applications are secure, scalable, and easily deployable.
  • Establish monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and performance of Data platforms.
  • Implement security best practices for Data platforms, ensuring data privacy and compliance with industry standards.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Abstract infrastructure complexity for developers.

  • His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
  • The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.
  • The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
