About The Position

The Plastics Set-Up is responsible for removing and installing injection molds and completing equipment setups and changeovers on electric and hydraulic plastic injection molding machines. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., with pay for 40 hours.

Requirements

• Ability to troubleshoot injection molding process issues.
• Strong knowledge of plastic injection molding processes.

Nice To Haves

• Previous setup experience in a plastics manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, adjust, repair, test, and calibrate production line machinery, and may operate it.
• Troubleshoot machinery and equipment as needed.
• Remove molds from the press after a production run is complete.
• Make machine adjustments within allowable parameters.
• Keep the work area clean and orderly.
• Identify improvement ideas and make recommendations.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
