About The Position

National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Plastic Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time scheduling, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week; part-time physicians work at least 3 weekdays per week. The stated weekday schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. Physicians learn wound management from wound-certified physician trainers and fellowship directors and use modern wound care technologies and modalities. This is W-2 employment; work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where the physician wishes to practice.
Commit to at least 3 weekdays per week within the Monday-through-Friday work schedule.
