Plastic Surgeon - San Antonio, TX
About The Position
National Wound Physician Group is hiring a Plastic Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in skilled nursing facilities and long-term acute care hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day within a 40–60-mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time during rounds using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians work 4–5 weekdays per week; part-time physicians commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week. The posted salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. No work visa sponsorship is available.
Requirements
- Hold a full, active, unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
- Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
