About The Position

The Plasma Processor works in a plasma center and handles operational tasks including maintaining accurate donor files, shipping, and inventory control. The role collects and processes donor samples for processing and testing; records product and sample weights; labels samples; freezes units for final packing within the required timeframe; and prepares units and samples for shipment. The Plasma Processor also monitors stored products, reports equipment working conditions, and maintains active communication and quality. Training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Superior customer service standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in an environment with exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions and complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Ability to perform according to oral and written instructions.
• Hearing acuity is essential.
• Required vision includes color perception and discrimination, near vision, and far vision correctable in one eye to 20/30 and in the other eye to 20/100.
• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, bending and twisting, frequent hand and foot movement, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
