About The Position

Grifols is a global healthcare company that develops, produces, and markets plasma-derived medicines, transfusion medicine products, solutions, and services. The Plasma Processor works in a plasma center and handles operational tasks including processing donor samples, maintaining donor files, shipping, and inventory control. The position involves exposure to biological fluids and infectious organisms, laboratory and office equipment, and extreme cold in a plasma freezer. Required personal protective equipment includes protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold-weather gear.

Requirements

• Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, bending, frequent hand and foot movements, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Hearing acuity and specified color perception and corrected near and far vision.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process donor samples for processing and testing.
• Record the weight of products and samples.
• Label samples and freeze units for final packing within the required timeframe.
• Pack units for final shipment and prepare sample shipping boxes for the testing laboratory.
• Monitor stored products and report equipment working conditions.
• Maintain active communication and quality.
• Handle operational tasks such as maintaining accurate donor files, shipping, and inventory control.
