About The Position

The Plasma Processor works in a plasma center and handles operational responsibilities including maintaining accurate donor files, shipping, and inventory control. The role collects and processes donor samples for testing, records product and sample weights, labels samples, freezes units for final packing within the required timeframe, and prepares products and samples for shipment. It also involves monitoring stored products, reporting equipment working conditions, and maintaining active communication and quality. Training is provided. Work includes exposure to biological fluids and potentially infectious organisms, electrical office and laboratory equipment, and extreme cold below 32°F in a plasma freezer. Required personal protective equipment includes protective eyewear, garments, gloves, and cold-weather gear.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Superior customer service standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Organizational, computer, and troubleshooting skills.
• Comfort working in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions and listen to and understand spoken information.
• Ability to perform the physical and visual demands described, including frequent hand and foot movements, standing, walking, lifting, and handling objects precisely.
