About The Position

IGS Industries Inc. is seeking a CNC Plasma Operator for its Plasma Division in Meadowlands, Pennsylvania. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC plasma cutting machines in a manufacturing environment. The operator loads and unloads materials, interprets engineering drawings, and ensures parts are cut to specifications while meeting quality and safety standards. Duties may also include programming the machine, monitoring its performance, and performing basic maintenance.

Requirements

High school diploma/GED and/or relevant work experience.
Understanding of measurements and tolerances, including the ability to convert between fractions and decimals.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Ability and willingness to participate in safety training and/or certifications provided by the company or customer.
Must obtain Tow Motor certification through IGS and hold a valid driver's license.
Strong attention to detail and mechanical/technical aptitude.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work safely with tools and equipment.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with different types of steel and other materials, including their properties and appropriate cutting parameters.
One or more years of experience operating a CNC plasma table.
CNC knowledge.
