About The Position

The Plant Utility/General Labor role performs production support tasks at the Montgomery Box Facility. Duties include counting and stacking finished product, reading factory orders, running orders, reading gauges and other test equipment, using basic shop math, inspecting, and accurately completing quality and administrative documents while following directions. The role also includes cleaning tasks such as blowing down the machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming and sweeping the machine area, and picking up and shredding scrap. The position is hourly, full-time, and pays $23.27 per hour. Shifts include second shift, Monday through Friday, and third shift, Sunday through Thursday. Candidates must be willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required. The listed second-shift schedules are 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m.–3:00 a.m., or 11:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.; third-shift schedules are 11:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., 11:00 p.m.–11:00 a.m., or 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m. International Paper describes its workplace as safe, caring, and inclusive, and offers leadership training and promotional opportunities.
