About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer with expertise in Siemens Plant Simulation to support modeling and optimization of product flow through a complex rocket motor manufacturing facility. This role will develop, validate, and maintain discrete-event simulation models that represent manufacturing operations, material flow, equipment, labor, and production constraints. We are scaling strategically with speed and precision, making this an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to delivering for our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • 1+ year of Siemens Plant Simulation experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, propulsion, or other regulated manufacturing environments
  • Familiarity with rocket motor manufacturing or similarly complex production systems
  • Knowledge of capacity analysis, production scheduling, and continuous improvement methods
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python
  • Demonstrated expertise with Siemens Plant Simulation
  • Experience developing simulation logic for complex product flow in manufacturing environments
  • Strong background in constraint identification, bottleneck analysis, and mitigation planning
  • Ability to analyze manufacturing data and translate model outputs into practical recommendations

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Siemens Plant Simulation models for complex manufacturing flow
  • Build logic for product routing, resource utilization, material handling, queues, buffers, and process dependencies
  • Analyze simulation results to identify bottlenecks, capacity limitations, labor constraints, and WIP buildup
  • Recommend and evaluate mitigation actions such as staffing changes, equipment reallocation, buffer sizing, sequencing improvements, and capital investments
  • Perform what-if and trade study analyses to support production rate changes, facility improvements, and long-range capacity planning
  • Validate model performance using production data and collaborate with operations, engineering, and planning teams to deliver actionable recommendations
  • Ability to obtain a government security clearance
