About The Position

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Plant Operator to join their team at their wastewater treatment plant in Knoxville. This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM, with weekends as needed. The role involves managing incoming wastewater, treatment processes, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the work environment. The operator will be responsible for checking tank levels, adhering to safety regulations, operating and maintaining shop and heavy equipment, and performing minor electrical and process equipment maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience as a Plant Operator with the maintenance of water pumps and plant machinery (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of the material.
• Performs cleanup of the area as required.
• Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing.
• Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations.
• Wears and properly uses safety equipment at all times.
• Always works in a safe and compliant manner.
• Operates and maintains shop equipment.
• May perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment including forklift truck and skid steer.
• May perform minor electrical maintenance functions.
• Cleans and maintains process equipment.
