About The Position

Liquid Environmental Solutions is seeking a Plant Operator to join our team at our Wastewater Treatment Plant in Knoxville! This is a full-time position with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 2 PM - 10 PM, with weekends as needed. The role involves managing incoming wastewater and its treatment, ensuring adequate space for material processing, and performing cleanup as required. The operator will follow all safety and compliance rules, wear appropriate safety equipment, and operate and maintain shop equipment, including heavy machinery like forklifts and skid steers. Minor electrical maintenance and cleaning of process equipment are also part of the responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience as a Plant Operator with the maintenance of water pumps and plant machinery (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of the material.
• Performs cleanup of the area as required.
• Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing.
• Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations.
• Wears and properly uses safety equipment at all times.
• Always works in a safe and compliant manner.
• Operates and maintains shop equipment.
• May perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Operates heavy equipment including forklift truck and skid steer.
• May perform minor electrical maintenance functions.
• Cleans and maintains process equipment.
