Role Overview : The Plant Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and strategic direction of the Dallas manufacturing site, with a clear mandate to lead the site into its next chapter of growth. This role requires a hands-on, forward-looking operational leader who can build capability, strengthen leadership discipline, and create the conditions for the Dallas site to become a world-class operational site. The Plant Manager is accountable for delivering business objectives across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, productivity, and employee engagement while building a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, coaching, and operational excellence. Success in this role requires the ability to positively develop leaders and teams, strengthen performance management, and raise the overall capability of the site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • 8-15 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
  • Proven experience leading multiple operational functions within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience managing production, engineering, supply chain, and HSE teams.
  • Demonstrated success driving operational improvement and business performance.

  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership for the manufacturing site and serve as the senior operational leader responsible for leading the Dallas site into its next chapter of growth.
  • Translate business strategy into operational objectives and execution plans.
  • Build a culture where coaching, accountability, continuous improvement, and team development directly support world-class safety, quality, delivery, and customer performance.
  • Lead site operational reviews and performance management processes
  • Lead all assembly, machining, warehouse, and shipping operations.
  • Ensure production plans are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer requirements.
  • Drive improvements in productivity, capacity utilization, throughput, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve performance against key operational KPIs.
  • Lead manufacturing engineering activities including process optimization, automation, equipment effectiveness, and new product introduction.
  • Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including waste reduction, standard work, 5S, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Support capital investment planning and execution to improve safety, capacity, quality, and cost competitiveness,
  • Oversee production planning, scheduling, inventory management, and material flow.
  • Ensure alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and supply chain capabilities.
  • Lead procurement activities to ensure material availability, supplier performance, and cost management.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to mitigate supply risks and improve performance.
  • Champion a zero-harm culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory, company, and customer requirements.
  • Lead site safety initiatives, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure environmental and sustainability objectives are embedded into operations.
  • Promote proactive risk identification and mitigation.
  • Own site operating performance including productivity, labor efficiency, inventory, scrap, and operational spending.
  • Develop and manage site budgets and resource plans.
  • Identify and execute cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.
  • Support forecasting, annual operating plans, and long-range business planning,
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports and site leadership teams.
  • Build organizational capability through succession planning, talent development, and workforce planning.
  • Foster employee engagement and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Support positive employee and labor relations where applicable.
