About The Position

As a Plant Manager, you are responsible for overall operational results. You will provide senior oversight in optimizing the daily operations of a facility while ensuring production goals are met efficiently and effectively. You will bring a deep understanding of operational best practices, strategic planning, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will participate in the annual operating plan process, understand long-term strategic plans, and set department goals in support of these plans. You will partner with and influence other department leaders in achieving the broader goals of Avery Dennison’s manufacturing operations. This is an on-site position located in Greenfield, IN.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering or related field required.
10+ year’s successful multi-functional Operations experience including management and employee development.
Proven experience in manufacturing operations leadership or plant management within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge and demonstrated execution of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards and continuous improvement methodologies.
Demonstrated track record in developing and executing business plans, managing annual operating budgets, and driving operational metrics.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders and inspire operational teams.
Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills to evaluate operational performance, optimize workflows, and drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Align workforce planning and resource allocation to outpace the competition, ensuring the flawless execution of growth priorities.
