About The Position
The Plant Assembler provides production-line capacity by moving conveyor and stationary boards and assembling, testing, inspecting, and packing products. The role includes following simple directions and color diagrams, checking wires for electrical continuity, sorting passed and failed parts into designated containers, and visually inspecting harnesses. The assembler also packs products into cartons, applies shipping labels, sets boxes aside for quality inspection and closure, builds and tapes products, and assists with housekeeping.

- Ability to work while standing for long periods of time.

- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Some experience in a manufacturing environment; training is provided and advancement is based on merit.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-line capacity for moving conveyor boards and stationary boards.
- Understand and follow simple directions.
- Interpret simple color diagrams for line plugging.
- Check whether the wire passes electricity.
- Press the green start button and monitor test indicators: yellow indicates a part is testing, and green indicates it passed.
- Place passed parts in the shipping container.
- Place failed parts in the reject container.
- Visually inspect harnesses for wire orientation, missing components, and sealed wire.
- Pack 50 pieces per box, as indicated by the quantity displayed on the screen, into a shipping container.
- Attach a shipping label to the end of the carton.
- Set boxes aside for quality inspection and closure.
- Build and tape product.
- Assist with housekeeping.
