About The Position

A Planning Supervisor is responsible for the general supervision of the planning department. Requirements

Due to ITAR regulations, must hold U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
5 years successful supervisory experience within a technical and/or production environment required.
Printed Circuit Board experience required
Strong leadership and time management skills; ability to navigate in a fast-paced environment
Ability to make decisions fast and under pressure
Flexible to work on weekends
Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

Schedule and assign work within the Planning department to regulate workflow and meet required department throughput.
Handle resource management and utilization for the manufacturing process.
Manage the Planning staff through effective selection, training and evaluation of team members. Participate in various employee-related activities for team members, including Time and Attendance, Employee Relations, Training, and Performance Reviews.
Develop and mentor personnel by providing coaching and guidance with technical knowledge and career development
Resolve and handle requests from other departments (manufacturing, quality, CS) for information and changes
Ensuring that business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met
Lead customer calls, address questions and concerns, and recommend effective solutions
Responsible for department decision-making and for work performed by team members
Update/upkeep of procedures and work instructions
Be available after hours and weekends – on the phone, via email and sometimes in person
Collaborate with with other departments as needed
