About The Position

The Reporting & Process Automation Intern will lead the redesign and automation of the Production Planning process. This role involves transitioning from a manually maintained Excel model to a scalable, data-driven solution using Power BI and Business Central. The intern will leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance efficiency and deliver actionable insights for production planning.

Requirements

• Experience with Power BI, including report creation and DAX formulas.
• Basic coding and data modeling skills.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for development and data transformation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Excel-based process analysis and automation preferred.
• Prior exposure to ERP systems and AI-assisted development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and document the current Excel-based production planning process, identifying gaps and inefficiencies.
• Design a data model that replaces hard-coded values with dynamic, query-driven data from Business Central.
• Develop an interactive Power BI report to visualize demand, capacity, and future supply projections.
• Collaborate with the Business Solutions Team to integrate planning data into Business Central pages for end-user access.
• Utilize AI tools to accelerate report building, DAX formulas, data transformation, and BC page development.
• Test and validate the new solution against existing processes, including user acceptance testing with stakeholders.
• Create documentation covering the data model, Power BI report, BC integration, and maintenance procedures.
• Deliver a final presentation summarizing project outcomes, lessons learned, and recommendations.
