About The Position
Trinity Logistics is seeking an Automation Intern for Summer 2026. This paid internship offers the opportunity to build and streamline real business processes using cutting-edge tools like AI and low-code platforms. The intern will support the Automation Team in designing, building, and optimizing workflows to eliminate repetitive tasks and improve efficiency across the organization. Responsibilities include gaining hands-on experience with tools such as Microsoft Power Automate and other AI-driven platforms, identifying automation opportunities, testing and troubleshooting workflows, and collaborating with teams to implement solutions. This role provides insight into how modern businesses leverage automation and AI for scalable growth, with work having a visible impact through process mapping, implementation assistance, and solution documentation. It is ideal for a curious, tech-driven student who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and improving systems.
Requirements
- Interest in automation, AI, or process improvement
- Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Power Automate, N8N, or similar platforms
- Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other generative/agentic platforms
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Comfortable learning new tools and technologies quickly
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of scripting (Python, JavaScript, or PowerShell) and APIs is a plus
