Task will include working with engineering and operations to define automation cell requirements, generate designs for mechanical and electrical systems, assembly of automation cells and support of FAT/SAT for delivery. Chromalloy is spooling up automation initiatives and is looking for an intern to learn about industrial automation through practical application of the skills they are learning at university.

Responsibilities

  • Design and assembly of automation cells
  • Working with engineering and operations to define automation cell requirements
  • Generate designs for mechanical and electrical systems
  • Assembly of automation cells
  • Support of FAT/SAT for delivery
  • Generation of technical documents including manuals, work instructions and final reports on cell performance post FAT/SAT
