About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-driven individual to support project development, team organization, material acquisition, and constraint management. Optimize current production processes utilizing the Maintenance Operating System. This role leads and coaches skilled trades and maintenance personnel across all aspects of asset management, including asset availability (Mean Time to Repair, Mean Time Between Failure), cycle time optimization, preventative maintenance, and predictive and condition-based monitoring technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Candidates for positions with Ford Motor Company must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure preventative maintenance activities are value-added and focused on driving permanent corrective actions.
  • Support New Model Launch activities as required.
  • Lead and coach teams in leveraging new and existing machine-monitoring tools to identify system constraints and systematically reduce and eliminate interruptions in production flow.
  • Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union representatives, and management teams.
  • Develop and lead projects from initiation through completion.
