Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience to include operations or MRO; Or an Advance Degree and 6 months experience to include operations or MRO or High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience to include operations or MRO
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain DOME, ESVR and SAP with accurate scheduling data to ensure we meet our Engine Induction and Shipment plan.
  • Manage Each Gate to the defined Gated Start and Close (Example- Inductions to G1 close, or Material Clear to G2 Roll)
  • Develop a roadmap by Gate to support the overall master schedule and yearly commitments, Monitor Engine Mix and Engine Hours to support a forward growth plan.
  • Work alongside Operations to drive overall efficiency and Engine Readiness.
  • Manage out of sequence work event and how to line load/sequence when needed. (test cell rejects, quick turn campaigns)
  • Work 12 hour weekend days Friday -Sunday for the purpose of supporting operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain detailed engine maintenance plans to support shop throughput, customer commitments, and operational schedules.
  • Coordinate part availability, work scope definition, and engine induction planning to ensure smooth flow through the Engine Center.
  • Use data-driven methods to identify bottlenecks, waste, and variation across engine disassembly, module centers, and assembly/test operations.
  • Assist in the develop standard work, process maps, and value-stream analyses to drive operational stability and repeatability.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators such as TAT, WIP levels, capacity utilization, and planning adherence.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to resolve planning issues, improve processes, and support program demands.
  • Drive cost‑reduction and productivity improvement projects using root-cause analysis and structured problem‑solving.
  • Support implementation of digital tools and analytics to improve scheduling accuracy, process visibility, and real‑time decision‑making.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the Engine Center.
