Planning and Industrial Engineering Focal AWW Weekend Shift Fri.-Sun. (Onsite)
About The Position
This role is for a Planning and Industrial Engineering Focal with a weekend shift (Friday-Sunday) in an onsite capacity. The position is with Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines and auxiliary power systems, and is part of RTX, a major aerospace and defense company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining scheduling data in systems like DOME, ESVR, and SAP to meet engine induction and shipment plans. They will manage gates within the production process, develop roadmaps to support the master schedule, monitor engine mix and hours for growth, and collaborate with operations to improve efficiency and engine readiness. The role also involves managing out-of-sequence work and supporting operational excellence through a 12-hour weekend shift.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience to include operations or MRO; Or an Advance Degree and 6 months experience to include operations or MRO or High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of experience to include operations or MRO
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves

- Prior experience with planning and supply chain
- Experience supporting continuous improvement related to digital tools
Responsibilities
- Maintain DOME, ESVR and SAP with accurate scheduling data to ensure we meet our Engine Induction and Shipment plan.
- Manage Each Gate to the defined Gated Start and Close (Example- Inductions to G1 close, or Material Clear to G2 Roll).
- Develop a roadmap by Gate to support the overall master schedule and yearly commitments.
- Monitor Engine Mix and Engine Hours to support a forward growth plan.
- Work alongside Operations to drive overall efficiency and Engine Readiness.
- Manage out of sequence work event and how to line load/sequence when needed. (test cell rejects, quick turn campaigns).
- Work 12 hour weekend days Friday -Sunday for the purpose of supporting operational excellence.
