We are seeking experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Intake Case Managers who are passionate about serving injured clients and making a meaningful impact. This role is for proactive case managers who take ownership, solve problems, and advocate for clients from the beginning of their legal journey. The work completed during the pre-litigation stage is crucial for successful case outcomes. This is a full-time, onsite position in Miami Lakes, Florida.

Requirements

  • Fluent in both English and Spanish.
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Florida Plaintiff Personal Injury pre-litigation case management experience managing motor vehicle accident (MVA) cases from intake through pre-litigation resolution.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm.
  • Recent plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation experience (not workers' compensation).
  • Liability and coverage investigations.
  • Property damage claim handling and coordination.
  • Advancing cases through the Florida pre-litigation process.
  • Managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working in a KPI-driven production environment with measurable performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated case progression ownership and file movement.
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM in our Miami Lakes office.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the pre-litigation process.
  • Independently manage a high-volume Plaintiff Personal Injury caseload.
  • Maintain regular communication regarding treatment status, case progression, property damage, and outstanding requirements.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client calls, emails, text messages, and voicemails.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case documentation within Litify or the firm's case management system.
  • Monitor case milestones and proactively move files forward.
  • Monitor treatment progression and provider compliance.
  • Coordinate treatment-related follow-up with clients and medical providers.
  • Identify treatment gaps, missed appointments, and barriers impacting case progression.
  • Request, obtain, review, and organize medical records and medical bills.
  • Ensure cases remain on track for demand preparation.
  • Communicate directly with bodily injury and property damage insurance adjusters.
  • Verify claim information, coverage, policy limits, liability decisions, and adjuster assignments.
  • Assist clients with Property Damage Claims, Total Loss Claims, Rental Vehicle Coordination, Diminished Value Claims, Loss of Use Claims, and PIP Claims.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting productivity expectations.
  • Review files for completeness and readiness.
  • Escalate legal issues requiring attorney review.
  • Prepare files for demand preparation.
  • Ensure all supporting documentation is obtained and organized before transfer.
