About The Position

The Ward Law Group is seeking an experienced Plaintiff Personal Injury Reductions Manager to lead its Reductions Department. This role is responsible for managing and developing a team of Reductions Specialists and Team Leads, overseeing departmental operations, improving performance, and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant settlement reductions. The ideal candidate is an experienced plaintiff personal injury leader who has successfully managed reductions teams, negotiated complex medical liens, and driven measurable operational results in a high-volume environment. Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of recent experience handling medical lien reductions, hospital negotiations, and settlement support within a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading or managing a team of legal professionals in a Plaintiff Personal Injury law firm.
  • Demonstrated success managing departmental performance through productivity, quality, or turnaround time metrics in a high-volume environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Experience using Litify (Salesforce) or a comparable legal case management system.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Reductions Specialists and Team Leads.
  • Oversee daily department operations, workflow, and productivity to ensure timely case resolution.
  • Review and assist with complex hospital, medical provider, and lien negotiations.
  • Monitor departmental performance, quality, and turnaround times while implementing process improvements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership to resolve escalated matters and improve operational performance.
  • Review settlement documentation for accuracy and ensure compliance with firm policies, attorney direction, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit, train, and conduct performance evaluations for team members.
