About The Position

The Food Service Associate is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of shift duties, including providing exceptional customer service, preparing menu items, operating and maintaining food service equipment safely, and following food service and health regulations. The role also includes cleaning and maintaining the store’s appearance. Cross-training with the convenience store or car wash may be requested.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of food safety; the company will provide additional food safety training.

Responsibilities

Perform job duties with a customer-centric mindset, making customer service the top priority.
Address customer complaints and issues, escalating situations beyond the employee’s authority.
Follow company policies and safety rules, and reinforce kitchen safety rules with other associates.
Prepare custom food orders in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, refrigerators, and freezers as needed and instructed.
Receive and control inventory, and use waste reports to help inform future orders.
Keep the food service area clean and compliant with state and company health guidelines.
Know where to find information such as pricing, portion controls, and preparation procedures.
Operate food service equipment and keep it clean and safely operational.
Perform other duties assigned by the food service or store manager.
Cross-train with convenience store or car wash operations if requested.
