About The Position

The Food Service Associate is responsible for the proper and efficient operation of assigned shift duties. The role delivers exceptional customer service, prepares menu items, safely operates and maintains food service equipment, follows food service and health regulations, and cleans and maintains the store’s appearance. The position may also involve cross-training in the convenience store or car wash.

Basic knowledge of food safety; additional food safety training will be provided by the company.

Responsibilities

Perform duties with a customer-centric mindset, prioritizing customer service.
Address customer complaints and issues and escalate matters beyond the role’s authority.
Follow company policies and safety rules, and reinforce kitchen safety with other associates.
Prepare custom food orders according to company standards and procedures.
Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, refrigerators, and freezers as needed.
Receive inventory, control inventory items, and use waste reports to inform future orders.
Keep the food service area clean and compliant with state and company health guidelines.
Locate and use information on pricing, portion controls, and preparation procedures.
Operate food service equipment and keep it clean and safely operational.
Perform other duties assigned by the food service or store manager.
Cross-train with convenience store or car wash operations when requested.
