About The Position

NY Pie is looking for Pizza Makers for our Franklin location! We offer competitive pay at $21-$24 per hour including tips (based on experience; potential to earn more if you learn multiple roles). Pay is dependent upon skills and experience. These positions offer a flexible full or part-time schedule. Daytime flexibility is preferred. NY Pie is a fun, family-style pizzeria with four Nashville area locations. We are looking for people with a Wild Hospitality mindset to add to our team! Requirements

Prior experience as a pizza maker required
Understanding of food sanitation regulations and safety standards.
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a hot, fast-paced environment.
Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Strong attention to detail, communication, and ability to follow recipes.
Must be able to read orders from tickets and/or screen.

Responsibilities

Prepares, assembles, and bakes pizzas according to recipes, working in fast-paced kitchens.
Preparing dough and toppings, operating ovens, maintaining sanitation standards, and providing customer service.
Hand-stretching dough, saucing, topping, and baking pizzas consistently.
Preparing dough, chopping vegetables, making sauces, and slicing meats.
Operating and monitoring wood-fired, gas, or conveyor ovens to ensure proper cooking.
Cleaning workstations, tools, and equipment, and maintaining high hygiene standards.
Monitoring stock levels and informing supervisors of low inventory.
Managing orders and, in some settings, taking orders or handing food to customers.
