About The Position

The Pizza Maker works in a Domino’s store and may make menu items, assist customers by phone and in person, and expedite orders from the cut table. Team members may work part time or full time, with schedules intended to accommodate different needs. The role may offer opportunities for advancement into management and other positions.

The job involves taking and processing orders, preparing products, stocking ingredients and supplies, operating store equipment, and cleaning the equipment and facility. Work conditions may include temperature changes, hot surfaces and products, food and other odors, cornmeal dust, confined spaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. The role requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use, as well as occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, bending, crouching, and squatting. Some tasks involve lifting deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and reaching shelves up to 72 inches high.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be willing and able to work all in-store stations, including making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality-control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication in person and by telephone; near- and mid-range vision and depth perception are needed.
• Ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk frequently for short distances.
• Ability to lift deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds and stack cases on shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Ability to reach continuously and use hands throughout the workday; shaping dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
• Ability to grasp and manipulate items such as cans, phones, pizza cutters, pizza peels, and pizza boxes.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs or a ladder, and to bend, crouch, or squat as needed.
