About The Position
The Pizza Hut Crew Member creates an exceptional guest experience by preparing quality food, providing friendly service, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant. Team members may greet guests, take and process orders, prepare pizzas and other menu items, and help keep kitchen operations running efficiently. The role follows Pizza Hut recipes and quality standards, including food presentation, portion control, product freshness, food safety, and sanitation procedures. It also involves restocking, opening and closing tasks, cleaning, and inventory rotation using First In, First Out practices. The position requires a rotating schedule that includes days, afternoons, rotating weekends, and some holidays.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.

- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with guests and fellow team members.

- Stand and walk for 4 to 8 hour shifts.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift.
- Operate kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems safely.
- Perform food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and guest service duties.

- Previous restaurant, retail, food service, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently, answer questions, and make menu recommendations.
- Provide prompt, courteous service to create a memorable guest experience.
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to Pizza Hut recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain proper food presentation, portion control, and product freshness.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
- Ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process guest transactions.
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities.
- Help maintain inventory and rotate products using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.
- Keep food preparation areas, dining areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
- Follow company safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout every shift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
