About The Position
The Pizza Hut Crew Member creates an exceptional guest experience by preparing quality food, providing friendly service, and keeping the restaurant clean and organized. Team members may greet guests, take orders, prepare pizzas and other menu items, and help the kitchen operate efficiently. The position requires a rotating schedule that includes days, afternoons, rotating weekends, and some holidays.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule that includes days, afternoons, rotating weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to maintain positive working relationships with guests and fellow team members.
- Ability to stand and walk for 4 to 8 hour shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment and point-of-sale systems safely.
- Ability to perform food preparation, stocking, cleaning, and guest service duties.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant, retail, food service, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with a friendly, positive attitude; take orders accurately; answer questions; recommend menu items; and provide prompt, courteous service.
- Prepare pizzas and other menu items according to Pizza Hut recipes and quality standards, maintaining proper presentation, portion control, and freshness.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures; prepare accurate orders in a timely manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process guest transactions accurately.
- Restock food, beverages, and supplies throughout the shift.
- Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities.
- Help maintain inventory and rotate products using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices.
- Keep food preparation areas, dining areas, equipment, and workstations clean and organized.
- Follow company safety, sanitation, and food-handling procedures.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each shift.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
