About The Position

Rosati’s Pizza is seeking a Pizza Cook to join its kitchen staff and prepare pizzas using the company’s family recipes. The role involves making pizzas for the menu and custom orders, baking traditional thin-crust, double-dough, and Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas, and helping with other line-cook tasks as needed. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training is provided. This role may be a starting point for someone launching or expanding a restaurant career.

Requirements

Hands-on experience preparing and baking pizza doughs.
Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment.
Ability to stand for approximately 90% of the workday and freely access all areas of the location.
Ability to withstand warm temperatures and use kitchen equipment proficiently.
Ability to perform physical activities including reaching, bending, kneeling, climbing, and moving around the facility.
Ability to follow directions and create menu items.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizzas from the menu and according to custom orders.

Perform line-cook-related tasks as needed.
Monitor food stock and place orders as needed.
Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment.
