About The Position

California Pizza Kitchen seeks a Pizza Cook to prepare pizzas and contribute to memorable guest dining experiences in a dynamic restaurant environment. Team members are expected to prioritize guests and embody the CPK High 5: love for CPK, authenticity, teamwork, attention to service details, and enthusiasm for the menu. Pizza Cooks maintain food-quality and sanitation standards, prepare station recipes on time, and use the Dough-Pro machine. They also support line checks, complete prep par sheets each shift, prepare station items, handle tools and surfaces safely and sanitarily, maintain equipment temperatures, and perform station opening, closing, and side-work duties. The position requires three to six months of related experience or training. The current pay range is $18.00–$22.00. Benefits may be available if coverage requirements are met and include 401(k), health, dental, and disability insurance. Responsibilities

Maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
Ensure timely preparation of all pizza station recipes.
Operate the Dough-Pro machine.
Support the line-check process and complete prep par sheets each shift.
Prepare necessary items for the station as needed.
Practice and teach safe, sanitary handling of cutting boards, countertops, knives, and equipment.
Maintain proper equipment temperatures.
Perform station opening, closing, and side-work duties each shift.
Prioritize guests and contribute to a memorable dining experience.
