About The Position

As the Forklift Operator II, you will help provide supply chain solutions for GXO’s customers. You will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, handle product and materials, and support warehouse receiving and shipping activities. The position requires safe, accurate equipment operation, adherence to GXO quality and cleanliness programs, and a commitment to process excellence. The role requires at least one year of warehouse experience and training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks. You must be available for a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed, and be able to meet the physical and environmental requirements of warehouse work.

Requirements

At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move product, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy.
Load and unload trailers as required.
Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate a commitment to process excellence.
Demonstrate an understanding of the company quality policy.
Perform the inbound receiving process.
