About The Position

GXO is seeking a PIT Operator I to operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers and help deliver supply chain solutions. The role includes moving products and materials, handling inbound receiving, and supporting quality and process excellence in a clean warehouse environment. Available schedules are day shift, Sunday–Tuesday, 5:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m., or night shift, Friday–Sunday, 5:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m. The position requires availability for a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.

Requirements

Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently and more than 75 pounds occasionally.
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights; bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull; and stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience on an electric pallet jack.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as needed.
Follow the 7S program and maintain a clean environment.
Demonstrate commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy.
Perform inbound receiving processes.
