About The Position

Bridger Pipeline LLC is hiring a Pipeline Operator I for a full-time, on-site position in the Sidney, Montana area. The role supports crude oil pipeline operations, including gauging and testing crude oil at lease tanks, maintaining gauging equipment and supplies, checking leases for environmental issues and safe working conditions, and assisting with pump maintenance and line pigging. The position requires daily travel to and work in isolated areas, and rotating shifts may include weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education, and zero to three years of job-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to drive to and work in isolated areas on a daily basis.
• Fluency in English, verbal and written.
• Acceptable results from a pre-employment background check, credit check, and drug/alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

• A commercial driver's license (CDL) with hazardous materials (Hazmat) certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with measuring, sampling, and testing crude oil for gauging at lease tanks and maintain records.
• Be responsible for gauging equipment, supplies, and technology.
• Assist with checking leases for environmental issues and report problems.
• Assist with ensuring leases are in safe working condition.
• Assist with general pump maintenance and pigging of lines.
• Work rotating shifts, which may include weekends and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
