About The Position

Olé Mexican Foods is seeking a reliable, customer-focused PIO Route Sales Driver to support Direct Store Delivery operations across the Midland, Texas area. The driver represents Olé in local grocery stores, manages an independent route schedule, transports products, and builds positive relationships with retail partners. The role emphasizes efficient, safe driving and strong retail execution.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) systems in chain or independent grocery environments.
Prior experience using handheld devices and mobile printers to process invoices and inventory records.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Commitment to road safety regulations.
Ability to perform daily physical work, including loading and unloading delivery vehicles and stocking store displays.
Must be at least 23 years of age for fleet insurance compliance.
Highly punctual and reliable.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Safely load, transport, and unload Olé products and merchandising materials at major grocery chains and independent stores according to the route schedule.
Set up cardboard displays and organize inventory to improve product visibility on store shelves.
Use handheld devices and mobile printers to generate store invoices, manage product credits, and record travel hours.
Optimize daily routes to avoid construction and traffic and arrive at stores on time.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the company vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Communicate proactively with management about vehicle needs, route status, and in-store feedback.
