About The Position

Olé is seeking a reliable, customer-focused PIO Route Sales Driver to support Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operations across the Dumas area. The driver represents Olé in local grocery stores, manages an independent route schedule, transports products, and builds positive relationships with retail partners. The role focuses on efficient, safe delivery and strong in-store merchandising.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) systems in chain or independent grocery environments.
Prior experience using handheld devices and mobile printers to process invoices and inventory records.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Commitment to road safety regulations.
Ability to perform daily physical work, including loading and unloading delivery vehicles and stocking store displays.
Must be at least 23 years old for fleet insurance compliance.
Punctuality and reliability.
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Safely load, transport, and unload Olé products and merchandising materials at major grocery chains and independent stores according to the route schedule.
Set up cardboard displays and organize inventory to improve product visibility and presentation on store shelves.
Use handheld devices and printers to generate store invoices, manage product credits, and log travel hours.
Optimize daily travel routes to avoid construction or traffic and arrive at stores on time.
Perform routine daily vehicle inspections (DVIR) and keep the company vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Communicate proactively with management about vehicle needs, route status, and in-store feedback.
