PIO Driver
About The Position
Olé Mexican Foods is seeking a reliable, customer-focused PIO Route Sales Driver for Direct Store Delivery operations in the Midland, Texas area. The driver manages an assigned route, transports Olé products, and serves as the company’s representative in local grocery stores, building positive relationships with retail partners. This independent field role focuses on efficient, safe delivery and strong retail execution. The position includes loading, transporting, and unloading products and merchandising materials; presenting products on store shelves and displays; processing invoices and credits using handheld devices and printers; planning routes around traffic and construction; inspecting and maintaining the company vehicle; and communicating with management about vehicle needs, route status, and in-store feedback.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Direct Store Delivery (DSD) systems in chain or independent grocery environments.
- Prior experience using handheld devices and mobile printers to process invoices and inventory records.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Commitment to road safety regulations.
- Ability and comfort to perform daily physical work, including loading and unloading delivery vehicles and stocking store displays.
- Must be at least 23 years old for fleet insurance compliance.
- Highly punctual and reliable.
- Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload Olé products and merchandising materials for major grocery chains and independent stores according to the route schedule.
- Set up cardboard displays, organize inventory, and maintain product visibility and presentation on store shelves.
- Use handheld devices and printers to generate store invoices, manage product credits, and record travel hours.
- Optimize daily travel routes to avoid construction or traffic and arrive at stores on time.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and keep the company vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained.
- Communicate proactively with management about vehicle needs, route status, and feedback from stores.
- Build positive relationships with retail partners.
